Woodrow and Tim Burr, two loveable little guys created by Hartman Brawley, Jaclyn Dalbey, and Sarah Kronk, have become the club mascots this year and will be featured on the 2005-2006 club t-shirts. Woodrow (a Phantom of the Opera-type actor) and Tim Burr (a song and dance man) illustrate the timeless vaudevillian expression "Trodding the Boards", which refers to touring and performing onstage. The black, short sleeve t-shirt will feature Woodrow and Tim Burr in ivory ink on the front and a listing of the 2005-2006 theatre season in ivory and red ink on the back. Cost for the t-shirt is $10 and orders are due by September 30th.

Coloring sheets are available for children who would like to color Woodrow, TimBurr, Woodrow and TimBurr together, or the 2005-2006 TimBurr, or the club t-shirt design. If children would like to mail their colorings to the Drama Club and Tech Crew to show their support, they can drop off their coloring at any play they might attend, or the address is:

Not only are the Drama Boosters working hard to fill the coffers of the theatre improvement fund, so are Davidson's theatre officers. They kicked off their efforts this summer with a bake sale at Hilliard Arts Council's summer musical production of My Fair Lady. Throughout the 2005-2006 school year, these socially conscious high schoolers will be giving back to the program by assisting the Boosters in their fundraising efforts.
