Hilliard Davidson High School Drama Boosters will be sponsoring the 2006 Battle of the Bands on the 21 January 2006. Admission is $4.00, concessions will be available. Doors open at seven pm and the event will last until ten-thirty pm. Only the performers will be admitted at four-thirty pm for set-up. Entry deadline is 17 December 2005, each act must submit a form and their entry fee - the form and more information are available for download. Every band must submit an application with fee and a demo Tape/CD and/or the Lyrics of the songs to be played.

• Process of selection:
  • We took the bands that have played in the past Battles and helped our Fund Raising efforts in the 8:35 to 9:45 positions as a reward for their participation. The remaining bands positions were randomly pulled from a hat.
• Sound Checks
  • The first 5-6 bands and anyone bringing equipment should be there at 3:45. The remaining bands by 4:00pm.This isn't a rehearsal and we need to keep things moving so all the groups get a chance to get the best sound set up possible.
• Showtime
  • Let's work toward putting on a great, entertaining and professional show. Each group has 20 minutes to perform with 5 minutes transition time between each set for groups to move in and move out. Please adjust your song list to fit your time limit, be considerate of the other groups and feel free to help out when/where you can.
